    6/14/2024 Termination of Toshiba Smart Home Services

    Reason: Due to a decrease in the number of users, it has become difficult to continue providing efficient service

    We sincerely thank you for your support of our products.

    Effective from December 20, 2024, the Smart Home Service functionality for the VC-FLX1 from Onkyo and the TH-GW10 from Toshiba will be discontinued.

    Functions that will no longer be available:

    • All functions of the Apps
      • Live Video
      • Rules
      • History and Playback of videos recorded with One Touch Recording
    • Amazon Alexa (if connected with Alexa)
    • The Toshiba Smart Home apps for iOS and Android and Amazon Alexa Skill, “Toshiba Smart Home Skill” will be removed from their respective Apps stores.

    The following functions will continue to be available:

    • Bluetooth Speaker

    We are deeply grateful to all our users who have supported Smart Home Services over the years. We apologize for any inconvenience this discontinuation may cause and thank you for your understanding.



    5/31/2024 End of Notification Functionality for Android

    Reason: Due to the deactivation of certain features in the Android system

    Thank you for your support of our products.

    Effective June 20, 2024, Push Notification set from Rules will be discontinued. This will affect only Android apps.



    1/29/2020 Application updates

    This is an announcement that the Toshiba Smart Home Application for Android has been updated to version 1.24.

    The update fixes an issue where previous versions might not work properly in certain situations on Android10.

    This version is already available from Google Play.

    If your mobile device is not configured to automatically update the Toshiba Smart Home Application, we recommend updating the application manually.



    1/16/2020 Application updates

    This is an announcement that the Toshiba Smart Home Application for iOS has been updated to version 1.23.

    The update fixes an issue with Wi-Fi connection at Connect Device step on Initial Setup process.

    However, the Initial Setup process is changed to meet requirements for Apps working with iOS13.The detailed procedure is explained in the updated User's guide.Please refer to the address blow.
